duoSEO is a Los Angeles area SEO and web design company comprised of Rain Lee and Willy Rosner. We perform SEO and web design side-by-side in a little office, surrounded by oak trees, in the Santa Monica mountains, near Los Angeles.
We believe the services we offer can help the independent business survive and thrive in today's competitive ecomomy. The Internet levels the playing field and gives the underdog a chance to contend on a local, national or global level. We're not trying to get rich quick or take over the world. We just love the Internet and the work we do.
We don't do static. Remaining competitive is an important element to the success of any website on the Internet. To keep up with the independent business' needs, we keep reading and learning to expand our knowledge base. We strive to offer the most comprehensive and up-to-date techniques in SEO and related web design.
About Rain Lee
Confession: I'm a little obsessed.
Often I wake up in the morning already thinking about keywords. Or I'll get up, sit down at my computer with my coffee and check in on my websites' progress. OK, not my websites, websites I'm working on. Once your website is in my head it doesn't leave until we're satisfied we've reached our goals.
Confession: I can be a little bit corny.
A magic moment occurs when someone searching for something they need (or want) types some words into a search engine and they are presented with a list of websites which answer that question or fill that need (or want.) For me, finding the magic words that person is going to use is kismet. Still, it requires a balance of science, good sense and intuition. I have all 3 and I am not afraid to use 'em.
Truth: The Internet can be good for the environment.
Sure, keeping your computer running is a total power suck. But, weigh that against an afternoon of driving around town looking for just the right tablecloth that you could have found in 2 minutes on the Internet. You've saved the environment and yourself a whole lot of valuable resources.
Truth: I'm a frontierswoman at heart.
I don't know whether to laugh or cringe when I watch George Bush talk about "the Google", and ask; "Will the highways on the Internet become more few?" But I have come to realize; there is still uncharted territory on the Internet(s) for the rest of us to enjoy. It doesn't matter where you're come from, we're all equal here. And even better yet, there is enough to go around.
About Willy Rosner
In 1982 I bought my first computer at 12 years old. A Commodore 64. I've been in front of a monitor ever since. Occasionally I get up and tend to other things like coffee or food.
I'm really proud of the work Rain and I do here at duoSEO.
I'm passionate about great design-- websites, architecture, furniture, magazines, food containers, you name it. Good design makes life better.
I'm the guy over here that handles the graphical design and layout, the technical programming of the site--html, css, user interface, forms and functionality. I'm skilled at Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop, video editing, copywrighting.

The Challenge: Create a site that caters to rental customers and those looking to purchase. The internet is the only marketing medium the company is focusing on so it was important that the site do its job well.
What We Did: Everything from the ground up. We created the site design, color scheme, images, logo, Flash intro movie, all copy, tags, SEO, standards compliant HTML & CSS. We created two distinct landing pages for rentals and sales. Each of these pages contained keyword rich content relevant to searches being performed. The site is easy to update and can be adjusted as the business changes without major revisions.
The Result: Within a month of launching the site's been showing up in the 3rd and 4th spot on the first page for most of the business' most popular keywords. Elegant Mist is ecstatic as their phone's been ringing off the hook.

The Challenge: This acupuncturist's current site was all images and needed to be converted to html so that it could be optimized for Search Engines and help bring in business
What We Did: We made some minor graphical modifications to the existing header and converted all pages to standards compliant HTML and CSS. We also gave site a facelift.
The Result: The site is now indexed by the search engines and is rising in the ranks every month. They're getting new patients every month who found them on the internet.
